The Skoki weekend trip started from Temple Lodge on Friday in marginally acceptable cold conditions. As the group progressed over Boulder pass we met an uncomfortable head wind, so everyone was very glad to get to the lodge to warm up and receive a luxurious welcome of hot soup and snacks. Saturday morning brought clear but very cold conditions so we waited for the sun to hit the lodge before heading out for day trips. One group skied up to Magic Falls and a second group did a circuit of Skoki Mountain. Sunday also started very cold but quickly warmed up as we skied out to the road in glorious sunshine.
